I'm not much into following stats but I guess quarter of a million page views is a landmark.

Thanks every one who has stopped by and I hope you enjoyed reading my Bursledon musings.


Just to make sure you've been paying attention.  Anyone know what this is and what you might use it for?

      It's the fighting top of a dreadnought near Mercury on the Hamble. I have forgotten the whole story, but I am sure all will be revealed. Something about a training establishment and a walkway through the marshes; plus an old sea captain who used it as a lookout. But I'm starting to invent things now...

    the answer to your question is it is the bottom of a light house that most likely was surrounded by water but is no longer surrounded by water.
