Lugger

An old lugger at rest, dried out on the shingle at the top of the creek.

You might be forgiven for thinking it's a scene from 100 years ago, but the telephone pole to the left is a bit of a give away.

It's the Helford River in Cornwall, up by Gweek just three years ago.

  1. Was this there temporarily, or was it there a long time?

  2. I think it was a local boat, don't know if it was the home mooring but was there for a few months - floated on the tide.

  4. Hi
Do you have an email address or contact for Jono and Judy Brickhill. I met them many years ago 1991-1992 and wrote a song for Guide Me that I have recorded and want to sent them the link to. https://freshwaterpete.bandcamp.com/track/guide-me

    Thanks for your help.
