Puffin

Imagine this delightful sloop in her heyday, her sails drawing and planking newly varnished. Although at first glance the construction appears to be clinker (lapstrake) it seems to be built with quite wide, carvel planking which I'm guessing is copper or brass fastened to internal battens.

With a shallow draft and a drop keel Puffin would have been ideal for exploring the shallow waters of Carrick Roads or the creeks of the Fal estuary.
