Spotted this interesting RIB recently, judging by the way the hull section drops down it's not obviously a sort of landing craft ramp to be used on the beach.
Maybe it drops down while on the water to allow easier access to pontoons?
We live close to Bursledon Bridge on the Hamble River. This is about boats, wildlife and people in the upper reaches of the Hamble, but mostly about old boats and things nautical.
Is it maybe for wheelchair access?
