Barging about
I love the details on these old barges, finding the interplay of shapes and textures an endlessly fascinating aesthetic as well as functional.
Especially so on a bright and sunny, winter day (probably the only one this winter or at least it feels like it).

Details are something that was produced in spades in the old days. The last time I was in London I took a photograph of an old drain grating in a street in central London - it was only a drain grate but also a detailed piece of Victorian art!
