    Agh.... Sunburst! One of David Boyd's last designs - built at Robertsons across the Holy Loch from our house in Scotland when I was a boy. She looks great for her age. The 8CRs were a fine class on the Clyde in the 1960s. The little Piper OD shares the unmistakable Boyd style and pedigree and is still raced enthusiastically in Scotland.

    I have gained quite some more respect for anything varnished after my coaming project.
