More D-Day Celebrations

Members of the armed forces had run 90 miles over three days from London to Warsash where they boarded this modern landing craft, which had taken a day off from active service as part of the D Day celebrations.

The event was organised by The Not Forgotten Association on behalf of disabled ex service people, the runners were active service personnel.

After a trip up river to Bursledon, passengers and crew embarked at the Royal Air Force Yacht Club in Hamble for a BBQ, speeches and prize giving.
