Sitting on a mooring on the Hamble between the railway bridge and the motorway it's easy to pass this unusual rib.
It has the look of a slightly neglected commercial vessel, perhaps used in the offshore oil or wind generation industry.
It certainly had commercial usage, for a while it was apparently used as a mobile fuel barge given the large capacity diesel tanks which were built for it's original purpose.
Any guesses what that was? Sorry no prizes.
