Nice example of a Willow Bay Boats Shilling on her mooring for the summer, really nice boat for pottering around Chichester harbour or drying out on the sand down at East Head.
Below, Featured this day boat ashore previously but nice to see her afloat.
The Willow Bay Shilling is one of my all time favourite boats. At 17 feet t's an absolute little gem. There is a great informative Utube video of a cutter rigged version of the Shilling (The standard version seems to be a yawl. The 17 footer also comes in a cabin less day boat version. There is also now a bigger version called the 'Florin' (which I think is two shillings in old money) If someone would like to buy me one I would be most grateful (Its my birthday this month).
