Melon Seed Skiff "Nancy Lee" was featured recently on 1001 Boats, pictures and details were kindly sent by Roger Rodibaugh who sails Nancy Lee (named after his wife Nancy) in Lafayette, Indiana.
It was a great surprise when a card dropped through the post box a few days ago, Roger and Nancy have created a card using images of Nancy lee with the accompanying words which absolutely sum up a cold but exciting winter sail .
Autumn Sail
Brisk wind
Stiff sail
Icy chop
Dripping rail
Bracing spray
Tugging sheet
Red nose
Cold feet
Roaring bow wave
Frozen fingers
Big grin
Joy that lingers
I imagined being there! No more needed to be said. I want a small boat again.
ReplyDeleteBaydog, you would be fabulous in a Melon Seed. Have you seen:

My good friends would even help you build one, if you like, which would give you something to do in your spare time. You remember "spare time". It's a concept out of the '50's

I would just like to say to all my fellow Entrepreneurs…just remember that persistence is the key to success.
